BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)
Bachelor of Physiotherapy is an undergraduate scholastic course in a field of Medical Science well known as Physiotherapy. The duration is 4½ years including an internship of 6 months. It assists people increase, keep or restore their physical portability , function, and strength. The course focuses on the use of physical therapy, massages, physical movements.
This science makes use of electrotherapy, evidence-based kinesiology, exercise prescription and shockwave mobility to treat chronic conditions of the bones and soft tissues.
It mostly focuses on the physical movements of the body to treat different conditions such as asthma, sports injuries, Parkinson's disease, chronic heart disease, stroke, cystic fibrosis, pelvic issues. The main aim is to help physical fitness through exercises and massages. Physiotherapists also use scientific methods such as electrotherapy, shockwave mobility, etc. to treat patients.
